Children are placed in the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) when they need special monitoring.

All nurses who care for the pediatric intensive care patients have special training and skills in working with children.

It is the goal of the Children's Hospital and the PICU that each of its patients will receive the highest quality of care. We welcome any suggestions you may have to make your child's stay more comfortable so feel free to ask questions or express concerns.
