Course description:

The focus of Caroline Creager's dynamic stabilization seminar is to teach the practitioner how to integrate the Swiss ball, foam rollers and resistive bands into an effective core-strengthening program. You will learn how to further enhance your evaluation and treatment skills using dynamic movement and progress your client from a clinical program to a home, gym or office regimen.

Attendees will each use an exercise ball, exercise band and foam rollers. These items will be provided by
Medcenter One.

Course objectives:

Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:
  • Palpitate and contract the transverse abdominis, multifidus and pelvic floor muscles, and integrate them into a core-strengthening program
  • Describe the indications, contraindications and precautions for dynamic stabilization equipment
  • Perform dynamic stabilization exercises using the Swiss ball, foam rollers and resistive bands
  • Ascertain how to attain and maintain a neutral spine position while performing exercises
  • Use basic mobilization and myofascial release techniques on the Swiss ball and foam rollers
  • Promote your program to new consumer markets, referral sources and the media
