Easy Street
Easy Street is special part of the Medcenter One Rehabilitation Center. It is a simulated community that allows therapists to help patients learn to function in real-life situations without leaving the hospital. Individual modules include a grocery store, cafe and apartment with a kitchen, dining room and bedroom. These areas of Easy Street incorporate real world obstacles including curbs, steps, ramps, slopes and turnstiles. A physical and occupational therapy gym is conveniently located on Easy Street. The Easy Street enhances the well-established rehabilitation program offered at Medcenter One, and is the only facility of its kind in western North Dakota.
