Making Amber's Dream Come True

  Amber Des Roches was just 15 when leukemia took her life days before Christmas in 2007. Despite unbearable grief and sorrow, Amber’s family remembered how the teenager often talked about transforming the Medcenter One Children’s Hospital. Amber envisioned a children’s hospital where nothing is impossible. Amber wanted sick and injured children to have a place of their own, a place that looked and felt different from the rest of the hospital. Amber yearned for an environment where children’s fears could be eliminated and their pain diminished.

Savor the Flavor

Mark your calendar for this year's Savor the Flavor, 6—10 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 7, 2010. Doors open at 5 p.m. This event includes a Grand Chef Show-Off, Silent Auction of Significance and Luxury Live Auction.
